Early Ice Climbing

The Early Days of Ice Climbing

Recently the Alpinist posted a link to a great video by Jim Surette about east coast ice climbing in the 60's and 70's with New Hampshire White Mountains local Rick Wilcox.  The short film Ice Revolution  is put together very nicely and gives a good perspective of how climbers began climbing more and more vertical ice.
